Media Importance:

Media is the way information is communicated to the masses. Whether through print, TV, social mediums or radio airwaves, these tools can communicate fear and gossip or they can communicate hope and the good news. They can be used to create division and strife, or they can be used to inspire to great works. May the media in our region communicate truth and good news. May they be a voice of encouragement in the community.

Prayer Points and Scripture:

Pray for a desire for purity and righteousness to infiltrate our media. Do warfare against that "gossiping" spirit. Ask the Lord to bring a spirit of integrity into those who work in the media.

Prayer: Lord, we say how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things. We bless those in the media who pursue truth and righteous standards with courage. We pray that the eyes of media personnel will be opened to truth and that their hearts will be touched by righteousness.

- How does God want to use this powerful means of influence to further His purposes?
- Who are the real influencers in media? Is their influence positive or negative?
- Ask God how to pray for those who carry influence in this area.
Observe:
- The influence for that the media has in your family and in your relationships.
- How you personally use social media.
Bless:
- Bless those with a desire for purity and righteousness to infiltrate our media.
- Bless those who carry influence with a spirit of integrity, courage and favor to stand for truth and godly values.
