Marketplace Importance:

Business is a calling. It is a way to worship God. Business provides income and a means of finding purpose for many. Business takes our skills and talents and can channel them into great works. We want the marketplace to be used to generate products, ideas and funding and distribution channels for the work of the Kingdom.

Prayer and Scripture:

Pray that daily Bible studies and prayer meetings - even churches will be ignited in revival on the workplace. Pray for the strengthening of Christian business owners, CEO's, managers and workers - that they would be ministers of the Gospel on their jobs.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the creativity of those in the marketplace. Please give them innovative ideas to grow their businesses, and meet needs in our society. Prosper them and give them a heart to share their prosperity and their creativity to attack the long-standing systemic problems in our nation. Give Christian businessmen vision for how they can serve You and glorify You through their businesses.

Ask:
- Ask God to show you His provision in and around you.
- Ask for understanding of the potential that is released when the marketplace relates with other domains to seek solutions for systemic issues in the city.
- Ask God to reveal Christian marketplace leaders who need prayer support to accomplish what God is calling them to do.
Observe:
- Who are the influencers who hold the purse strings in your community.
- Where there are business people who are beginning to work together for the good of the city.
Bless:
- Bless those who work in the marketplace with the capacity to see their job as a place to worship God.
- Bless business leaders with creative, innovative ideas that will meet needs in our society, both for products and for systemic changes to improve lives and make positive changes in society
